Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 15, 2026
1. Information Collected
Monkey Margin collects information needed to provide inventory, sales, grading, market tracking, and accounting support features. This may include account details, product records, inventory records, sales records, grading submissions, market observations, uploaded files, and user-entered notes.
When you connect third-party services, the application may receive data from those services, including eBay order and transaction information and Intuit QuickBooks company, account, and accounting-related information.
2. How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the application, match sales to inventory, calculate costs and proceeds, help prepare accounting exports or entries, sync connected services, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
QuickBooks data is used only for accounting-related features you initiate or configure, such as reading account lists, mapping accounts, and supporting future accounting sync workflows.
3. OAuth Tokens and Connected Accounts
If you connect eBay or Intuit QuickBooks, authorization tokens may be stored securely on the server so the application can perform requested sync operations. Tokens are not sold and are not used for unrelated purposes.
You may revoke connected app access through the applicable third-party platform or request that the application administrator disconnect the integration.
4. Sharing
Monkey Margin does not sell personal information or connected account data. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the application, including database, authentication, hosting, logging, and integration providers.
Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect the application, or to respond to security or fraud concerns.
5. Data Retention
Information is retained while needed to provide the application, maintain business records, support accounting workflows, resolve issues, and comply with legal or operational requirements.
You may request correction or deletion of data by contacting the owner or administrator who provided access to Monkey Margin. Some records may need to be retained for business, tax, accounting, or security reasons.
6. Security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to protect application data. No system can guarantee perfect security, and users should keep their login credentials and connected service accounts protected.
7. Children
Monkey Margin is intended for business and inventory management use and is not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated as the application changes. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
